 Becoming Radicalized for Christ

WOW do an internet search for becoming radicalized for Christ and see what you get.

The first page was all negative and how this leads to terrorism. In one article they scolded moderate Christians for tolerating the radicals. I'm probably now on another watch list just for Googling it. How have we gotten to this point in our society. I believe it's because we have very few true radicals for Jesus anymore. We have become lazy and indoctrinated into this worldly society and have not truly died to self.

 A fly in the Ointment

Why does the church not smell the fly in the ointment?
Why must we add silly things to our traditions and what we believe?

The Day the Republic Fell

January 20, 2025, was a day destined for the history books, but not in the way anyone could have foreseen. A crisp winter morning blanketed Washington, D.C., as thousands gathered on the National Mall to witness the swearing-in of Donald J. Trump for his second term as President of the United States. The air was electric with anticipation—a mix of celebration and protest, as had become typical of modern American politics.

Preach the Word

2 Timothy 4:1-8 (ESV)
1 I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: 2 preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. 3 For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, 4 and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. 5 As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.
6 For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure has come. 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8 Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing.

1 Corinthians 15:34 (ESV)
Wake up from your drunken stupor, as is right, and do not go on sinning. For some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.

Go and sin no more!

Would Christ tell us to do something that we could not do?

John 8:11 (ESV)
And Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you; go, and from now on sin no more.”
now I know [The earliest manuscripts do not include 7:53–8:11.]

John 5:14 (ESV)
Afterward Jesus found him in the temple and said to him, “See, you are well! Sin no more, that nothing worse may happen to you.”

Now I know this is not Jesus but!

1 John 2:1 (ESV)
My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin.

1 Corinthians 15:34 (ESV)
Wake up from your drunken stupor, as is right, and do not go on sinning. For some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.

Paul I'm the foremost Sinner.

1 Timothy 1:16 (ESV)
But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life.

Paul is not saying he is still a Sinner he is saying he was the foremost But yet Jesus Christ displayed his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in Christ.
If Paul thought he was the chief Sinner would he still be telling people to be imitating him a Sinner?

1 Corinthians 11:1 (ESV)
Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ.

1 Corinthians 4:16 (ESV)
I urge you, then, be imitators of me.

2 Timothy 3:10 (ESV)
You, however, have followed my teaching, my conduct, my aim in life, my faith, my patience, my love, my steadfastness,

Now I'm not saying Paul believed he was perfect and did not stumble but if he did, he had an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.

1 John 2:1 (ESV)
My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.

The crucifixion of Christ was the most heinous act ever to have been done but it was also the salvation of us.

Therefore the world hates you

From He Gets Us has an agenda web site.
How did the story of Jesus, the world’s greatest love story, get twisted into a tool to judge, harm, and divide?
We’ve done a lot of homework on our culture. We researched how people feel about each other and what they think about Jesus and Christianity. We’ve connected with thousands of people of various faith traditions and those who claim no religion. We spoke to all kinds of people — different backgrounds, beliefs, and, yes, political affiliations. And this is what we’ve learned: From politics to sexuality and religion, so many of us feel like our values, beliefs, and identities are under attack by the ideological “others” around us. Many perceive those who differ with them on issues of justice, dignity, and humanity as not just wrong or misguided but also as evil. As enemies. We often see these “others” as close-minded, selfish, hypocritical — and if we’re honest, many of us respond in kind.

You know I would not have to have done a lot of homework to know why the world hates us.

John 15:18-19
“If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.
