Go and sin no more!
Would Christ tell us to do something that we could not do?
John 8:11 (ESV)
And Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you; go, and from now on sin no more.”
now I know [The earliest manuscripts do not include 7:53–8:11.]
John 5:14 (ESV)
Afterward Jesus found him in the temple and said to him, “See, you are
well! Sin no more, that nothing worse may happen to you.”
Now I know this is not Jesus but!
1 John 2:1 (ESV)

1 Corinthians 15:34 (ESV)
Wake up from your drunken stupor, as is right, and do not go on sinning. For
some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.
Paul I'm the foremost Sinner.
1 Timothy 1:16 (ESV)
But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus
Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to
believe in him for eternal life.
Paul is not saying he is still a Sinner he is saying he was the foremost But
yet Jesus Christ displayed his perfect patience as an example to those who were
to believe in Christ.
If Paul thought he was the chief Sinner would he still be telling people to be
imitating him a Sinner?
1 Corinthians 11:1 (ESV)
Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ.
1 Corinthians 4:16 (ESV)
I urge you, then, be imitators of me.
2 Timothy 3:10 (ESV)
You, however, have followed my teaching, my conduct, my aim in life, my faith,
my patience, my love, my steadfastness,
Now I'm not saying Paul believed he was perfect and did not
stumble but if he did, he had an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the
righteous.
1 John 2:1 (ESV)
My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not
sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ
the righteous.
